The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Bickle wants to clinch up but Machado keeps it at a distance. Bickle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Machado to score an easy takedown into full guard. Machado tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bickle trying his best to control but Machado has mounted him. Machado is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bickle knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bickle for a finish. Bickle tries to escape but Machado has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Bickle holding both Machado 's hands and preventing any damage. Machado looking to break Bickle's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bickle remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Machado will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Machado is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bickle with him. Bickle is trying to defend but Machado has an arm under the chin now! Bickle grimaces and is forced to tap out!
