The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kimura stuffs the takedown. Kimura gets a double leg takedown into Ryan's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Ryan (0) vs (2) Kimura Ryan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kimura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kimura postures up.
Ryan is looking for a triangle here but Kimura uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
