Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Osgood! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osgood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clair as he jumps to the side. Clair moves in looking to clinch but Osgood pushes him off. Osgood throws a right and a left that both miss. Osgood misses with a head kick.
Osgood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clair manages to avoid it. The fight moves into the clinch position. Clair breaks the clinch.

and Osgood counters by moving into the clinch. Osgood letting Clair take a breather here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osgood is looking for a takedown. Clair drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Osgood gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Osgood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Clair seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Clair forces Osgood back against the cage and clinches. Clair drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Osgood gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It looks like Osgood might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Clair is trying to stand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Clair pushes Osgood up against the cage in a clinch. Clair pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Osgood tries to clinch there but Clair circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Osgood crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clair - the referee stops the clock and Osgood gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clair. Osgood manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Clair tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Osgood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Osgood clinches up with Clair and pushes him back against the cage. Osgood connects with a nasty looking knee right to Clair's face.
It looks like Ethan Clair has been cut. Osgood pulls guard successfully.

Osgood throws a leg kick and Clair makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Osgood really felt that one! Osgood is breathing heavily. Clair lands a nice looking kick to the body. Osgood takes a step back to recover. Clair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Osgood avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clair pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Osgood back to the cage. Clair follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Osgood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clair is fending him off so far but Osgood persists. Nope, Clair circles away and we're back to standing. Clair lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Clair pushes Osgood up against the cage in a clinch. Clair controlling the action here for a moment.

Clair has Osgood pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Osgood manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Clair looking to throw knees to the head but Osgood is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clair tries to score a body lock takedown but Osgood shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Clair has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Osgood avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Osgood manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clair content to stall in guard here. Osgood wants to control the position but Clair says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Osgood is trying to stand up here but Clair is controlling him well. Osgood trying to control from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Clair tries to clinch but Osgood moves out of range. A decent looking body kick lands there for Clair. Clair delivers a nice body kick. Clair tries to work over Osgood's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Clair misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Clair will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Osgood up against the cage. Clair drops down looking for an ankle pick but Osgood pulls his leg out and moves away.

Clair can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Osgood controls the pace. Osgood in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Clair is looking to stand back up but Osgood counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Clair. Clair tries to kick Osgood off but Osgood keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
