James comes into the arena with Sea of lies blaring out of the sound system. Trump has chosen Trumpwave as his entrance music. Jolly James has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trump lands a jab. A head kick misses from James. James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. James gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Trump to score an easy takedown into full guard. James pushes Trump off and scrambles back to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action! Trump lands a nice looking body shot.

The fighters are working up against the cage. James manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Trump tries to break free but James pushes him back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from James. James has Trump pressed against the cage.
James seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Trump is trying to trip James. He has hold of a leg but James is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Trump persists though and gets the takedown into guard. James uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trump scores with a one two! James had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Trump lands a nice hook to James's body. James takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. James pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James throws a lazy head kick and Trump counters with a left to the body. James has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Trump connects with a single shot there. Trump gets the takedown into side control. James sneaks out the side door and pushes Trump away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It looks like Jolly James has been cut. James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trump can do to turn this around? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trump darts in and clinches James up against the cage. Trump tries to circle away but James has him pinned against the cage. James stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

James has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Trump is on him like a limpet, forcing James back against the cage. Trump jumps guard and drags James to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. James wants to pass the guard but Trump is keeping the position. James gets to his feet. Trump looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! James throws a lazy head kick and Trump counters with a series of strikes. James will be more careful next time no doubt. Trump shoots in for a takedown and gets it. James kicks off Trump and gets to his feet.

James goes for a high kick. It partially lands. James pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trump is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. James throws a sloppy head kick and Trump moves out of range easily. Trump let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. James gets caught napping as Trump dives in and scores a takedown. James manages to retain guard. James has his feet on Trump's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trump moves into the clinch successfully.

James stalls. The referee is keeping an eye on James - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Trump jumps guard and drags James to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jolly James overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trump swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trump can do anything to dispel that myth. James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Trump is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. James pushing down on Trump's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. James passes to full mount! Trump taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trump takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Trump really wants to buck James off and get back to his feet. James thowing shots but they're missing. The referee warns Trump that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James content just to control the position here. James is working for a guillotine from mount but Trump frees his head quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Jolly James showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
