The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Brown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gosh defends it nicely. Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Gosh on that attempt. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. Gosh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brown's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Brown (0) vs (2) Gosh We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gosh passes into half guard. Gosh works his way into full mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Brown (0) vs (5) Gosh
That's one minute gone in the round. Gosh controlling from mount. Gosh working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Brown turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gosh off and cradles Brown's limp body as Gosh celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Omi Gosh! Omi Gosh very nearly forgot to thank Tycoon Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. |
