Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shino Kanihara (ranked 23694 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawaki Inoshita (ranked 23009 p4p, 0 weight class). Kanihara comes to the cage accompanied by Onlap's "Whispers in my Head". Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shino Kanihara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kawaki Inoshita! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanihara darts in and clinches Inoshita up against the cage. Inoshita tries to pull guard but Kanihara holds him up against the cage and eventually Inoshita drops back down to his feet.
Kanihara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kanihara lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kanihara fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Inoshita, pushing him back against the cage. Inoshita is trying to pull guard but Kanihara has him pressed against the cage. Kanihara is defending well against a takedown attempt. Shino Kanihara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kawaki Inoshita. Kanihara controlling the action here for a moment.
Inoshita jumps into guard, dragging Kanihara to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kanihara wants to control from the top but Inoshita keeps moving. Inoshita is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kanihara looking to pass the guard. Kanihara throws a big elbow that misses. Inoshita has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kanihara has gone for a leg lock! Inoshita slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kanihara's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kanihara throws his legs up looking for a submission but Inoshita uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kanihara gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kanihara won't allow Inoshita to pass to mount. Kanihara is concentrating on defense, preventing Inoshita from advancing position. Inoshita is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kanihara trying to control here.
Kanihara wants to get back to full guard but Inoshita has mounted him! Inoshita takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Inoshita has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kanihara tries to hold on but Inoshita postures up. Kanihara is trying to escape the mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Inoshita sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kawaki Inoshita will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kanihara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Inoshita takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Inoshita closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Inoshita controls the position. Kanihara is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kanihara trying to remain calm as Inoshita controls from the top position. Kanihara is looking to regain half guard here but Inoshita keeps moving and retains side control. Kawaki Inoshita has got the better of the ground game so far. Kanihara is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Inoshita is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Kawaki Inoshita showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Inoshita with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Inoshita tries to pass to full mount but Kanihara defends it. Inoshita has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inoshita controlling the pace for now.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Kanihara really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Inoshita sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Shino Kanihara has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kanihara can't escape the position.
