Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Diggs (ranked 2024 p4p, 239 weight class) and Joseph Parker (ranked 1502 p4p, 172 weight class). Parker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roots Manuva - Again and Again. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Diggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Parker! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Diggs. Diggs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side. Parker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Diggs throws a big shot that misses. Parker tries to move into range but Diggs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diggs fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Diggs lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Diggs pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diggs throws a right hand that misses
enabling Parker to counter with a crisp jab. Diggs throws a predictable looking body shot
and Parker counters with a lovely straight right hand! Diggs looks to score with a jab to the body but Parker is just out of range. Nice shot by Diggs. Parker avoids the head kick by Diggs.
Parker looks like he wants to counter punch here. Diggs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Robert Diggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diggs lands with a hook. Parker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diggs.
Diggs throws a shot from downtown. Parker moves away and avoids it. Parker's coach down at Blackscar Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Diggs misses with a left hand and Parker counters with a straight right hand. Good standup being displayed there by Diggs as he connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diggs throws the left hand but Parker avoids the punch easily. Parker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Parker staying out of range there. Parker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diggs throws a monster overhand right that drops Parker! Diggs follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Diggs! Robert Diggs decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
