Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samran Mookjai (ranked 2020 p4p, 267 weight class) and Erno Bajza (ranked 3018 p4p, 373 weight class). Bajza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 5th Symphony. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samran Mookjai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erno Bajza! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mookjai gets caught flat footed, as Bajza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mookjai is wriggling around but Bajza manages to pass to half guard.
Bajza looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mookjai is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bajza works his way into side control. Mookjai holding on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mookjai is looking to regain half guard here but Bajza keeps moving and retains side control. Bajza is staying tight to Mookjai's torso, preventing him from escaping. Bajza wants to control but Mookjai is keeping him busy. Mookjai tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Mookjai's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bajza remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bajza wants to control but Mookjai is keeping him busy. Mookjai is trying to control Bajza's posture but Bajza avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mookjai is looking to reverse the position. Bajza working away. Mookjai is letting Bajza control him for a moment. Mookjai keeping his opponent close.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Erno Bajza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bajza closes the distance and clinches up with Mookjai, looking for a takedown. Bajza pushes Mookjai against the cage but Mookjai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bajza fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mookjai to the ground. Bajza is now in Mookjai's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mookjai keeping moving, preventing Bajza from controlling successfully. Bajza stays in close to Mookjai's body and controls the position. Bajza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bajza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mookjai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bajza controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bajza fails to land the takedown. Mookjai scores with a hook to the body. Bajza takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Bajza fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mookjai sprawls well initially but Bajza persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bajza looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bajza controlling the action here. Mookjai gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bajza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mookjai tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Bajza controls the position for a moment. Bajza struggling a bit here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mookjai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bajza fails with a takedown attempt. Mookjai is looking for a counter combo. Bajza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bajza has his takedown stuffed and Bajza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bajza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mookjai's half guard. Mookjai kicks off Bajza and gets to his feet. Bajza avoids the body shot from Mookjai.

Bajza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mookjai's guard. Bajza is trying to control the action in half guard but Mookjai is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bajza takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mookjai wants to get back to full guard. Erno Bajza is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bajza controlling the action here. Mookjai is pressing down on Bajza's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bajza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mookjai is keeping the position for now. Bajza slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bajza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mookjai keeps working. Samran Mookjai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bajza content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. You can see the frustration on Mookjai's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bajza wants to control but Mookjai is keeping him busy. Bajza slows the pace down.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Erno Bajza. I've got Bajza winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
