Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Mitchell (ranked 24874 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Hall (ranked 6120 p4p, 0 weight class). William Hall told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronnie Mitchell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Hall! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall misses with the combination.
Hall clinches up against the cage. Hall lands a shot to the body. Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall throws a right and a left that both miss. Mitchell slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall clinches with his opponent.
Mitchell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hall trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hall. Hall is nestled in close to Mitchell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hall prevents Mitchell from improving his position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hall in particular looking to stall. Hall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mitchell pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.
Nice strikes from Hall there. Hall missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mitchell is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall is taking a breather. Mitchell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hall performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Mitchell has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hall is on him like a limpet, forcing Mitchell back against the cage. Mitchell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mitchell is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronnie Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mitchell takes a shot to the head. Hall misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hall lands a left hand.
Mitchell is rocked! Hall avoiding damage.
Oh Mitchell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall cracks Mitchell with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mitchell falls to his knees and Hall doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Hall!
