Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Rump (ranked 6202 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Harrison (ranked 6730 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Rump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Harrison - just one landing.


It looks like Donald Rump has been cut.
Rump pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harrison scores with the left hand. Rump knows he should have avoided that one.
Harrison is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rump walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Harrison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harrison wants to clinch.
It looked like Rump was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice jab there from Harrison.
Harrison scores with a jab to the body.

Rump looks to land a combination but Harrison avoids it well.
Rump shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rump ducks right into an uppercut from Harrison.

Rump decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rump prevents Harrison from standing back up.
Rump trying to control the pace.
Rump tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harrison knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Harrison pushes Rump off but Rump dives into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rump prevents Harrison from escaping the position.

Harrison tries to escape but Rump is in control.

Harrison is trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Harrison is pushing Rump's head away, looking to escape. Rump manages to hold on to the position though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Harrison cracks Rump with a good jab.
A jab from Harrison does it's job there.
Harrison staying out of range there.
Harrison scores with a hook.
Rump circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harrison thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rump was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Harrison tries to clinch up but Rump circles away and keeps his distance.
Rump throws a big counter combination but Harrison scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Rump's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harrison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rump scrambles back to his feet.


Donald Rump's cut is getting worse.
Rump takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Harrison is looking to clinch.

Harrison gets caught flat footed, as Rump shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rump is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Harrison wants to stand up but Rump is controlling him.
Rump slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rump tries to move into full mount but can't pass Harrison's legs.
Harrison is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Rump working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Harrison is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but William Harrison will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Donald Rump's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Harrison connects with a looping right hand.
William Harrison seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Harrison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harrison throws a body punch but Rump moves out of range.
Harrison looks to score with a jab to the body but Rump is just out of range.
Harrison fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rump checks it well.
Rump appears to be looking for a big counter.
Harrison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Harrison throws a head kick but Rump moves out of range.

Harrison gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rump to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Harrison wants to get back to his feet but Rump is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rump sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Rump slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Harrison being controlled for a moment.

Rump seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Harrison for as long as he can get away with.
Harrison takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Harrison is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rump is controlling him well.
The referee asks Rump politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rump prefers to stall for the moment though.
Harrison is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rump has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Donald Rump overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rump moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Harrison keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rump.
A left lands for Harrison.
Harrison lands the left hand.
William Harrison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harrison, as that shot connected.


Donald Rump's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Harrison works Rump's body with a nice hook.
Harrison connects with the punch.

Rump takes one on the button.
Harrison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rump moves forwards but Harrison connects with a nice, crisp jab.


Jeez, Donald Rump's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harrison moves out of range as Rump strikes.
Rump throws a big shot that misses.
Harrison looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Harrison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Donald Rump's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
