Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randell Sanchez (ranked 6176 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerlan Pingol (ranked 6175 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randell Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerlan Pingol! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pingol has his takedown stuffed and Sanchez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A hook to the body from Sanchez.
Pingol blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sanchez has had enough of the clinch but Pingol keeps him there for the moment. Sanchez stops a takedown attempt from Pingol.
Pingol is trying to pull guard but Sanchez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Randell Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerlan Pingol. Pingol tries to score a body lock takedown but Sanchez shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sanchez misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pingol tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pingol tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sanchez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pingol is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pingol has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Pingol from controlling successfully. Pingol is stalling in the full guard. Pingol avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sanchez is looking to reverse the position. Pingol takes a little break here. Sanchez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Sanchez is trying to get back to half guard. Pingol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sanchez is not content to let Pingol control the position. Sanchez can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pingol has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Pingol comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Pingol swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sanchez tries to clinch letting Pingol counter with a right hand. Jerlan Pingol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pingol forces Sanchez back against the cage and clinches. Pingol ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pingol no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Pingol wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Pingol keeps moving. Sanchez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pingol is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him. Sanchez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Pingol keeps moving. Pingol controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself. Pingol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sanchez defends well. Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sanchez's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerlan Pingol dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Pingol misses with a takedown and Sanchez moves into the clinch. Pingol is working for takedown but Sanchez is calmly controlling the position for now. Sanchez manages to break the clinch.
Pingol lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's one minute gone in the round. Pingol tries a head kick but it misses.
Randell Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pingol pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pingol. Sanchez feinted with a counter takedown. Pingol is breathing heavily. No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt. Pingol with a body punch. A glancing blow. Pingol scores with a one two! Sanchez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sanchez is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pingol drops Sanchez with a naaaaasty hook - Sanchez is in real trouble here! Pingol dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
