Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Johnson (ranked 6715 p4p, 282 weight class) and James Striker (ranked 25119 p4p, 337 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Knuck If You Buck. Striker has chosen It's A Fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Johnson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Striker! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Striker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Johnson lands with a good body shot. Striker lands a jab to Johnson's midsection. The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've been informed that Striker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson lands with a hook. Striker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like James Striker has been cut. Johnson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dungeon Brawler Gym ($500/week) in the buildup to the fight. Striker throws a leg kick which misses Johnson's front leg but catches the back leg as Johnson tries to avoid it. Johnson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Striker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson throws a big counter combination but Striker scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. A head kick misses from Johnson. Johnson scores with a head kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson throws a series of punches but Striker moves out of range. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Striker shoots in but no luck this time. Johnson throws a quick counter kick to the body but Striker avoids it. Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Striker tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Striker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Striker is rocked! Striker wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Striker is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Striker walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Striker from any more punishment! Striker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Johnson! James Johnson is the new bantamweight champion! James Johnson thanked the fans post fight for their support.
