Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ki Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fibelas Alameda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law comes into the arena with We Run This Town blaring out of the sound system. Ki Law has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alameda shoots in but Law avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Law tries for a takedown but Alameda circles away easily
and Alameda moves into the clinch.
Alameda is trying to stall.
Alameda drops down looking for an ankle pick but Law pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alameda fails with the takedown
and Law counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Alameda!
Ki Law has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fibelas Alameda.
Law is landing with some decent strikes but Alameda is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Law is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alameda is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Law lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Alameda down.
Law is looking to take a break and control but Alameda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alameda is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Law off and has taken his back!

Alameda wants to hit a switch here but Law passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Alameda there!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Law is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Alameda has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Alameda!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Law counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Law throws a strike but Alameda rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Alameda rushes Law and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

and Alameda counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Alameda.

and Alameda moves into the clinch.
Law goes for a takedown attempt but Alameda pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Law counters with a shoot takedown. Alameda fights it but they end up in guard.
Alameda wants to control the position but Law says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Law seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alameda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Alameda has hold of Law's hands but Law slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Alameda is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Law is staying active.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Law swats away the attempt to clinch by Alameda.

and Law counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Law.

Law slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Alameda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Law kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alameda has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Law is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alameda.

Ki Law showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Law, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
