Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Sedley (ranked 6272 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Cruz Jr (ranked 6147 p4p, 0 weight class). Sedley's entrance music is Sleeping Giant. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sedley tries to keep at a distance but Cruz Jr has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cruz Jr drags the fight down to the ground.
Sedley won't allow Cruz Jr to get back to his feet.
Sedley advances position into side control!
Sedley content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Cruz Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sedley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sedley has an Americana. Cruz Jr didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sedley is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sedley hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
