Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 803 p4p, 113 weight class) and DeShawn Johnson (ranked 961 p4p, 134 weight class). Johnson has chosen Eazy e- real mother fuckin gs as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Optimus Prime could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to DeShawn Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Optimus Prime! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, DeShawn Johnson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like DeShawn Johnson has been cut. Prime swinging wildly here.
Johnson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Prime shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Johnson takes a swing at Prime's ribcage but misses. Prime throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it. Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Prime looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well. A nice side step and Johnson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. We've been hearing reports that Prime has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target. Prime throws a half hearted mid kick. A left lands for Prime. The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Prime doesn't seem phased though. Prime misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Prime misses with a right hand enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab. Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Prime ducks down to avoid it. Prime jabbing away but nothing is landing. Johnson throws out a counter right but Prime avoids it with no problem. Johnson lands with an overhand left. Prime throws a combination that misses and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Prime lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Prime will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Optimus Prime. That's going to take a lot out of him. Prime looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Prime persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing. Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Prime misses with a double jab
and Prime takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Optimus Prime has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Prime sprawling to the canvas! Prime rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!
Prime is rocked! Optimus Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prime lands a glancing blow to the side of Johnson's head. Oh Prime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Prime misses with a hook
and Johnson counters with a crisp right that sends Prime to the canvas! Johnson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
