Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Darron Flowers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Bullen!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullen goes for a double leg but Flowers avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flowers continues to drive forward.
Flowers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Bullen misses with a takedown attempt - Flowers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Flowers seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Flowers takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Flowers gets control of Bullen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Flowers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bullen is looking to work some ground and pound but Flowers has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flowers is looking to stand up but Bullen isn't so interested in that idea.

Bullen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Flowers dives on top into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bullen has his foot on Flowers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flowers works his way back into a safe position though.
Flowers stands up over Bullen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Flowers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bullen, pushing him back against the cage.

Flowers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bullen is proving hard to escape from.

Flowers stands up from Bullen's guard - Flowers perhaps looking for a knockout.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bullen fails with a takedown attempt.

Flowers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bullen to the mat! Bullen manages to get full guard.
Flowers wants to stand but Bullen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Flowers trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Bullen is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flowers to keep the fight standing.

Flowers throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bullen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flowers fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Flowers drops his hands momentarily and Bullen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bullen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flowers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bullen somewhat.

Bullen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Bullen with that takedown attempt.
Bullen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Flowers avoids it really well and circles away.

Bullen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flowers walks away with a smile on his face. Bullen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Flowers blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Flowers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bullen pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bullen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Flowers moves in looking to clinch but Bullen pushes him off.

Flowers tries to keep at a distance but Bullen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bullen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Flowers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bullen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Flowers wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Flowers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Darron Flowers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
