Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Smashuel Adams (ranked 6635 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benoit Loyer (ranked 6674 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Smashuel Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loyer lands a glancing blow to the side of Adams's head.
Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. Loyer tries to sprawl out of it but Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Loyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab from Loyer misses.
Loyer stuffs the takedown.
Loyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Adams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Loyer as Adams shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Smashuel Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Adams there as he acknowledges the shot.
Loyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Adams. Adams gets slowly back to his feet.
Loyer rushes Adams and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams tries to pull guard but Loyer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Loyer tries to work over Adams's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Loyer lands a nice uppercut.
Adams's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Adams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Adams is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loyer swings wildly with an uppercut but Adams uses good head movement to avoid it.
Adams stalling in the clinch.
Loyer lands with a right to the head.
Adams blocking some punches.
Adams blocks a body shot from Loyer.
Loyer misses with a hook to the ribs.
Adams blocks an uppercut.
Loyer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Adams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Adams blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Adams swats away the attempt to clinch by Loyer.
Adams takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Smashuel Adams has been cut.
Benoit Loyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Adams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Loyer misses the target.
Adams half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Loyer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Adams drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Loyer, as that shot connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Loyer misses with a hook. Adams ducked under it nicely.
A head kick misses from Adams.
Loyer cracks Adams with a good jab.
A low kick from Adams misses
and Loyer counters by moving into the clinch.
Loyer gets underhooks to prevent Adams's takedown attempt.
Loyer softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good exchange - Loyer coming out on top.
Adams moves away from the strike by Loyer.
Adams is looking to clinch but Loyer is avoiding it.
Adams tries to clinch but Loyer moves away
and Loyer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Adams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Adams is rocked!
Loyer throws a good cross that connects.
Oh Adams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Loyer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Loyer tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it.
Loyer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Loyer lunges at Adams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Adams's hand.
Loyer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Adams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Loyer drops Adams with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Adams! Loyer dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benoit Loyer!
After winning the bout, Benoit Loyer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
