PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buck Futter (ranked 109 p4p, 6 weight class) and Antun Racic (ranked 658 p4p, 31 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Futter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Get it on. Racic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tamo gdje su moji korjeni. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antun Racic!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Futter works the jab nicely.
Futter with a lazy takedown attempt
and Racic counters with a good low kick that Futter was not able to check.
Racic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Racic wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Futter with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Racic to score with a decent uppercut.

Racic appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Racic's coach down at Helsinki Athletics Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Racic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
