The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dee gets caught napping as Shore dives in and scores a takedown. Dee manages to retain guard.
Dee wants to get back to his feet but Shore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Shore postures up in Dee's guard and throws a big left but Dee blocks it.
Shore throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Shore looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dee has picked Shore up and slammed him! Shore can't keep hold of the triangle and Dee manages to pass to side control!
Shore tries to bench press Dee off him but Dee keeps the position.
Shore has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bubba Dee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Delvin Shore.

Shore tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dee defends well and Shore ends up having to push Dee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dee rushes Shore and presses him up against the cage.

Dee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dee lands a left and a right that send Shore crashing to the mat, dazed. Dee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Delvin Shore has been cut.
Dee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Dee lands a left hand that snaps the head of Shore backwards.

Dee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dee misses with some punches.

Dee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dee looks to score with a jab to the body but Shore is just out of range.
Shore swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Dee tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Shore manages to circle out of the way.
Shore throws a right hand that Dee ducks under and follows up with a left that Dee also avoids with ease.
Dee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dee misses with the combination.

Dee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dee there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Bubba Dee has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from Shore misses.
Shore shoots in but no luck this time.
Shore misses with a takedown
and Dee counters with a straight right hand.
Bubba Dee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dee swings for the body but Shore moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Dee.
Dee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Shore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bubba Dee dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Dee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dee but Dee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dee's waist but Dee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shore off to one side.

Shore takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shore can do to turn this around?
Shore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dee cracks Shore with a hook to the temple - Shore is on wobbly legs here! Dee swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Shore falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Dee wins by TKO!

In his post fight interview, Bubba Dee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
