Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Clifton (ranked 3317 p4p, 325 weight class) and Johnny Vegas (ranked 3298 p4p, 321 weight class). Vegas has chosen Ace Of Spades by Motorhead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Clifton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Vegas! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clifton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. No joy there for Vegas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vegas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clifton. Clifton swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Vegas drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Clifton defends it well. Clifton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vegas was well out of range. Poor timing from Clifton. Vegas misses with a combination
and Clifton counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Clifton misses with a jab to the body
and Vegas counters with a left and a right that stings Clifton. Clifton dodges the punch combination from Vegas.
Clifton is looking to counter punch. Vegas slips a straight right by Clifton. Vegas with the counter takedown but Clifton avoids it easily. Clifton ducks under a wild hook from Vegas. Clifton throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Vegas throws a nice looking combination but Clifton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vegas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clifton. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vegas slips under a jab.

Vegas misses with a takedown attempt - Clifton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A combination from Vegas does no damage. Vegas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clifton sprawls well initially but Vegas persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Clifton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vegas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Clifton sees it coming and defends easily. Vegas is trying to control the action in half guard but Clifton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Clifton wants to get back to full guard. Clifton is trying to maintain the position but Vegas is very close to passing his half guard. Clifton's coaches at Ferocious Beast have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Vegas seems to be working for a kimura but Clifton defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vegas trying to remain calm as Clifton controls from the top position. Vegas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Clifton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vegas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Johnny Vegas will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vegas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Clifton looks to score with a jab to the body but Vegas is just out of range. Vegas is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Vegas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Clifton counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Clifton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Clifton is looking to wear down Vegas with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Vegas misses with a looping right. Clifton feinted there with a counter leg kick. Vegas misses with a double jab.
Clifton throws out a loose jab but Vegas uses good head movement to avoid it. Despite the aggression on Vegas's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Vegas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Vegas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vegas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clifton throws a hook to the side of Vegas's head but Vegas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vegas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Clifton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johnny Vegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Vegas throws a head kick that misses. Vegas swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vegas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Clifton on the side of the head. Vegas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vegas has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Shark Tank MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Vegas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Clifton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Clifton tries to bench press Vegas off him but Vegas keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vegas looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Clifton is avoiding damage well.
Vegas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Vegas throwing strikes but Clifton manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vegas is trying to control Clifton's posture but Clifton avoids it. Vegas is letting Clifton control him for a moment. Vegas struggling a bit here. Clifton in side control, just content to control the action for now. Clifton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Vegas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Clifton tries to advance to mount but Vegas denies him. Clifton wants to control but Vegas is keeping him busy. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Vegas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Clifton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clifton trying to control the action but Vegas is working from the bottom.

Johnny Vegas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vegas misses with a hook. Vegas throws a wild body kick that Clifton sees coming a mile off. Vegas throws a right and a left that both miss. Vegas throws a one two combo.
Vegas's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vegas duly obliges. Vegas tries to bum rush Clifton with a series of wild strikes but Clifton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clifton throws a good cross that connects.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clifton takes a body punch but keeps moving. Clifton jabs Vegas to the body, keeping him at a distance. Clifton misses with a looping right. Vegas displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Vegas lands a jab to Clifton's midsection. Clifton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vegas.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Vegas looks to land a combination but Clifton avoids it well. A jab from Clifton does it's job there. Clifton lands a right hook to the body.

Clifton throws a hook but Vegas blocks it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Clifton. Clifton's corner calls for a 1-2. Clifton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vegas is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clifton lands with a good body shot. Vegas is still on wobbly legs! Can Clifton finish him? Crack! Clifton connects with the perfect overhand right and Vegas falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Clifton!
