Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Bell (ranked 1436 p4p, 164 weight class) and Sage Sabin (ranked 2142 p4p, 254 weight class). Sabin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Supersonic - Oasis kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sage Sabin will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doug Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sage Sabin! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sabin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sabin takes a swing at Bell's ribcage but misses. Sabin misses with a double jab.
Bell appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Sabin as he connects with a hook. Bell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Sabin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bell just misses with a punch to the body.
Bell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A looping hook to the body misses from Sabin. Bell does a little dance to reset his feet. Bell seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Sabin swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A punch lands to the side of Bell 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sage Sabin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sabin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bell is looking for a counter combo. Sabin throws a looping overhand right but Bell ducks down to avoid it. Bell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Bell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sabin. As Sabin looks to move away, Bell throws a big counter combo but Sabin just gets out of the way. Sabin lunges at Bell with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bell's hand. Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sabin manages to avoid it. Sabin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bell throws out the jab. A jab lands there for Bell.

Sabin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sabin swings and misses with a shot to the body and Bell counters with a stiff right hand. Sabin misses with a body shot.
A counter left hand to the body from Bell misses its target. Left hook, right uppercut from Sabin. Bell throws a right and a left that Sabin avoids nicely. Bell digs a good hook to Sabin's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bell there as he acknowledges the shot. Sabin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bell. Bell swings for the body but Sabin moves out of range.

Sabin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bell circles away quickly and effectively. Bell swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bell throws a jab when Sabin was well out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sabin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bell.

and Bell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sabin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bell, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bell throws a right hand that Sabin ducks under and follows up with a left that Sabin also avoids with ease. Bell is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sabin throws out the jab. Sabin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bell moves away. Sabin throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Bell to counter with a crisp jab. Sabin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Doug Bell will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Bell counters with a nice uppercut. Bell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sabin can do to turn this around? Sabin misses with a looping right. Bell appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Bell looks to score with a jab to the body but Sabin is just out of range. Bell cracks Sabin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bell lands with a nice body punch. Sabin throws a combination that misses and Bell counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bell fails to land with a series of punches.
Sabin appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Oooooh!!! Bell has knocked Sabin down with a huge combo! Bell steps away and waves a wobbly Sabin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sabin doesn't seem bothered though.

Sabin misses with a right hand and Bell counters with a nice uppercut. Doug Bell is winning the standup battle so far. Bell drops Sabin with a naaaaasty hook - Sabin is in real trouble here! Bell dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
