Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josiah Carrillo (ranked 24204 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Aron (ranked 5627 p4p, 0 weight class). Aron has chosen USA! as his entrance music. Henry Aron has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josiah Carrillo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henry Aron! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrillo throws a sloppy head kick and Aron moves out of range easily. Aron closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carrillo quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Aron seems content to control. Aron's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carrillo is looking to control Aron's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carrillo avoid being mounted? Carrillo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Still in half guard, Aron seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aron wants to pass to mount but Carrillo is defending the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Aron is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carrillo wants to improve his position but Aron is controlling well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Aron gets a double leg takedown into Carrillo's guard. Aron is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. More stalling from Aron. Let's hope that Aron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Carrillo wants to improve his position but instead Aron has moved into half guard.
Carrillo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aron trying to mount his opponent but Carrillo defends it. Aron is taking a breather. Carrillo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Carrillo is trying to stand up here but Aron is controlling him well. Aron slips a nice elbow through Carrillo's hands, connecting with Carrillo's forehead. Carrillo is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Aron drops an elbow to the side of Carrillo's head. Aron prevents Carrillo from standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Henry Aron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carrillo tries a head kick but it misses.
Aron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aron gets a double leg takedown into Carrillo's guard. Aron passes Carrillo's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Aron takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Aron dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Aron closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Carrillo's guard. Aron pushing down on Carrillo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Aron is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Carrillo regains full guard. Nicely done. Carrillo wants to stand up but Aron is controlling him. Aron postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aron lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Aron is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Aron missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aron working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Carrillo wants to sweep but no luck. Carrillo is looking to stand up but Aron isn't so interested in that idea. Aron showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Aron advances to half guard. Carrillo wants to get back to his feet. Aron looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Aron is controlling the pace.
Aron is nestled in close to Carrillo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Aron is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A head punch on the inside from Carrillo fails to land. Aron works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Aron prevents Carrillo from getting back to his feet. Aron's corner is telling him to maintain position. Carrillo trying to keep a closed guard but Aron is proving a slippery customer.
Carrillo wants to stand up but Aron is controlling him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Aron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Aron lands with a right that hurts Carrillo. Carrillo looks to clinch but Aron throws a short knee that drops Carrillo. This one is all over!
