Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Stevenson (ranked 23714 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harky Hartens (ranked 8737 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Harky Hartens was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Stevenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harky Hartens! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson throws a body punch but Hartens moves out of range. Hartens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Stevenson misses with a body shot.
Hartens gets tackled into the cage by Stevenson. Stevenson maintains the clinch.

so Stevenson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stevenson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Hilo inform us that Hartens has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Stevenson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hartens is on him like a limpet, forcing Stevenson back against the cage. Stevenson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Stevenson seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Alex Stevenson.
