The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankens swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aguilar.
A good leg kick by Jankens.
Jankens fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aguilar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jankens fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jankens thuds his right hand into Aguilar's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Aguilar tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jankens comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Aguilar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jankens lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jankens connects with a solid leg kick.
Aguilar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jankens is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Aguilar presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
