The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs tries to sprawl but Bravo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bravo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bravo is working for a submission of some sort.
Bravo is looking for a kimura but Riggs is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage. Bravo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Riggs is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Joe Bravo! After winning the bout, Joe Bravo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
