Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hud Vash (ranked 2901 p4p, 273 weight class) and Mark Tyme (ranked 1532 p4p, 158 weight class). Tyme has chosen Here Comes The Money as his entrance music. Mark Tyme has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hud Vash's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hud Vash! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Tyme ! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyme clinches up against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Vash fails to land. Vash tries a body shot but Tyme blocks it.
Vash digs a right hand underneath Tyme 's ribcage. Tyme let out a lung full of air as it connected. A battle for position here, against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tyme just misses with a elbow thrown towards Vash's brow. Tyme is trying to pull guard but Vash has him pressed against the cage. Vash turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vash manages to end up in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyme struggling a bit here. Tyme sneaks back into half guard. Vash performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyme gets back to full guard.
Tyme is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vash being controlled here momentarily. Tyme had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vash defends it easily. Our spies down at at Touch Of Death Combat Academy inform us that Tyme has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Vash controls from within his opponent's guard. Tyme trying to strike off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tyme is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vash defends well. Vash not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tyme is trying to keep Vash in close.
Vash slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tyme has his foot on Vash's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vash works his way back into a safe position though.

Vash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Vash tries to free his leg and advance position but Tyme is retaining full guard. Tyme is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vash is aware though and is defending well. Vash got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tyme has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vash has managed to get both his arms back between Tyme 's legs - danger averted. Tyme being controlled here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Vash catches Tyme with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Vash misses with an uppercut. Tyme saw that one coming. Vash slips under a jab from Tyme . Hud Vash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyme shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Tyme closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tyme tries to pull guard but Vash forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Vash lands a nice shot to the body. Tyme is trying to pull guard but Vash turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Tyme successfully pulls guard.
Vash stays in close to Tyme 's body and controls the position. Tyme has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Vash is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tyme . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vash controls the position. Tyme parries the strikes from Vash easily there. Vash is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tyme to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyme stops Vash from passing to mount. Vash controls the position. Tyme tries to bench press Vash off him but Vash keeps the position. We've been hearing good reports from Vash's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Vash controls the position from side control. Tyme is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tyme is trying to control Vash's posture but Vash avoids it. Tyme is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vash has knee on belly momentarily but Tyme bucks him off and regains half guard. Vash not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Vash content to control rather than advance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tyme with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vash to score with a decent uppercut. Tyme is looking to slow Vash down with leg kicks. Tyme throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Vash checks a leg kick nicely. Vash connects with a looping right hand.
Tyme drops his hands momentarily and Vash takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Vash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyme . Hud Vash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tyme throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vash. Vash connects with a nice looking jab.
Vash swats away the attempt to clinch by Tyme . Tyme chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vash with a body punch. A glancing blow. Vash bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tyme 's head backwards. Tyme tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vash swats him away and circles back towards the center. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyme takes a body punch but keeps moving. Vash feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tyme s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tyme is looking to clinch. Vash thuds a left hand into Tyme 's body. Vash tests Tyme 's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hud Vash is winning the standup battle so far. Tyme tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vash takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tyme tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vash swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vash lands a jab. A shot to the liver by Vash. Beautiful body shot. Vash is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tyme can do to turn this around? Tyme tries to close the distance and clinch but Vash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vash uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Tyme jabbing away but nothing is landing. Vash scores with a nice strike. Tyme throws a front kick aimed at Vash's knee but Vash avoids it well. Jab from Vash. Tyme throws a leg kick but Vash moved away. Tyme drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tyme trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vash is pulling down on Tyme 's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyme jumps guard but Vash stands there with Tyme around his waist. Tyme gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tyme works on Vash's body with a couple of short punches. Vash gets underhooks to prevent Tyme 's takedown attempt.

Vash is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Tyme fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hud Vash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Tyme . Tyme misses with an uppercut. Tyme takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Vash looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tyme ! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vash controls the position. You can see the frustration on Tyme 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Vash controls the position.

Vash stalling. Hud Vash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vash continues to stall. More hug and hope from Vash.

Tyme actively working from the bottom here. Tyme has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vash is working away from the top position though. Vash prevents Tyme from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tyme is trying to maintain the position but Vash is very close to passing his half guard. Vash keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hud Vash had his way with Mark Tyme in that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Hud Vash showed his dominance in that final round. Well Vash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
