And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Erik Jaguer!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaguer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Conrad is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jaguer wants to get up but he can't break Conrad's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jaguer throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jaguer is looking to work some ground and pound but Conrad has wrist control.

Jaguer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jaguer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jaguer scores with a couple of short elbows.
Jaguer cracks Conrad with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Jaguer cracks Conrad with a big right hand but Conrad just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Conrad seems a little lost for a moment, as Jaguer dominates the positioning.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jaguer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jaguer wants to get back to his feet but Conrad is holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jaguer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Conrad is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Conrad and Jaguer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Conrad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Jaguer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Conrad sprawls well initially but Jaguer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jaguer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are battling for position here. Conrad manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jaguer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jaguer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Conrad could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Jaguer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Conrad tries to clinch up but Jaguer circles away and keeps his distance.
Graham Conrad is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jaguer scores with a shot to the body.
Jaguer throws a sloppy head kick and Conrad moves out of range easily.
A little feinted left hand from Conrad on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Conrad misses with a body kick.

Jaguer moves into the clinch.

Jaguer gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Jaguer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Jaguer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jaguer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jaguer slips a nice elbow through Conrad's hands, connecting with Conrad's forehead.
Conrad is trying to control but Jaguer manages to pass to mount!

Erik Jaguer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Graham Conrad's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jaguer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Graham Conrad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Erik Jaguer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Jaguer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
