Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). X comes to the cage accompanied by Open Doors. Hatton has chosen Bret Hart theme as his entrance music. The key to victory for Rellik X has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rellik X! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bret Hatton! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! X lands with a slapping head kick. X misses with the combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hatton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before X can pounce on him.
X looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hatton scores a takedown into full mount! Hatton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… X is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by X and Hatton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
X is trying to buck Hatton off. Hatton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Hatton goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, X has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hatton but great work by X. X decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton shoots in but X avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. X using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hatton has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
X throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hatton wants to get back to striking at distance but X won't allow it.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for X. Hatton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. X is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. X tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rellik X has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hatton. Hatton looks gassed! X has picked Hatton up - he's going for a ride! X dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hatton is looking to get back to full guard here but X has managed to pass to side control instead. Rellik X dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A nice leg kick lands there from X. X tries to clinch up but Hatton circles away and keeps his distance. Hatton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. X scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. X throws a series of punches but Hatton moves out of range. X works over Hatton's head and body with a nice combination. X throws a series of strikes that have Hatton backpedaling.
X buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
X tries to close the distance and clinch but Hatton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. X throws a series of punches but Hatton avoids them all with ease. Hatton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. X tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. X is looking to clinch. Hatton throws a lazy right hand but X sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. X has managed to clinch.
X tries to land a knee to the head but Hatton blocks with his arms.
X wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hatton has him pressed against the cage. X is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hatton pulls him back up using the underhooks. X lands a damaging elbow. X tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. X breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

X manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Danga de danga de dang - X scores with a four punch combination! X takes the fight into the clinch. Hatton drives through with a takedown into guard. Hatton stands up from guard. Let's bang! Hatton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has X pinned against the cage. X gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. X throws a one two combo.
X moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. X fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hatton, pushing him back against the cage. X lands a damaging elbow. X manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hatton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! X is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! X has escaped and now he's on top! Hatton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hatton is working an open guard so X takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hatton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts X as he jumps to the side. X throws a leg kick which misses Hatton's front leg but catches the back leg as Hatton tries to avoid it. Hatton fails with a takedown attempt. Rellik X has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hatton. X gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. X keeping moving, preventing Hatton from controlling successfully. Bret Hatton has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton wants to pass the guard but X is keeping the position. Hatton preventing the sweep. Hatton works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hatton is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Hatton trying to control but X is working from the bottom. Bret Hatton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton postures up in X's guard and throws a big left but X blocks it. Hatton wants to control from the top but X keeps moving. Hatton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! X is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! X has escaped and now he's on top! X postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hatton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. X is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hatton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take X's back instead. Hatton is looking for the choke from the back position but X is controlling his hands well. Hatton throws strikes from the back but X rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by X. X is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bret Hatton. I think X has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
