Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammie Elliott (ranked 6203 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lemmy Kilmeister (ranked 6268 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmeister comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ace of spades-by MOTORHEAD kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilmeister fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kilmeister lands a nice hook to Elliott's body. Elliott takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Elliott shoots in looking for a takedown. Kilmeister tries to sprawl out of it but Elliott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kilmeister manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Elliott walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Elliott scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kilmeister can't do much from the bottom here. Kilmeister is looking to regain half guard here but Elliott keeps moving and retains side control. Kilmeister holds on to Elliott's head and controls the position momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elliott is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kilmeister will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Kilmeister defending against the ground and pound. Kilmeister struggling a bit here. Elliott wants to control but Kilmeister is keeping him busy. Kilmeister is looking to reverse the position. Kilmeister is trying to control Elliott's posture but Elliott avoids it. Kilmeister wants to get back to his feet but Elliott is dominant here and he's now got Kilmeister's back! Elliott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Elliott is riding his opponent, not letting Kilmeister buck him off. Kilmeister trying to control the hands but Elliott breaks the grip. Kilmeister is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Elliott is staying active. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Kilmeister tries to roll but Elliott sticks to his back.
Kilmeister keeps trying to improve his position. Elliott gets his hands free as Kilmeister looks to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Elliott has Kilmeister flattened out and is raining down punches. Kilmeister wants to control his opponent's hands but Elliott gets his hands free. Kilmeister is trying to get back to his feet but Elliott has full control of the position and if anything, Kilmeister has just worked his way into a worse spot. Elliott is looking to control Kilmeister but Kilmeister is wriggling around and keeping busy. Elliott scores with strikes from the back.

Sammie Elliott dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kilmeister gets caught flat footed, as Elliott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kilmeister managing to control the position. Sammie Elliott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Elliott not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Elliott throws a big elbow that misses. Elliott is working Kilmeister over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elliott working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kilmeister's head. Kilmeister looking to control.
Kilmeister wants to sweep but no luck. Kilmeister should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kilmeister is looking to stand back up but Elliott counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kilmeister.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilmeister is looking to control Elliott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kilmeister avoid being mounted? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kilmeister can do anything to dispel that myth. Elliott not doing much here.

Kilmeister is looking for a sweep. Elliott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kilmeister tries to kick Elliott off but Elliott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Elliott thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kilmeister is looking to get back to is feet but Elliott passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kilmeister tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Elliott easily slips into full mount! Kilmeister wants to hold on but Elliott pushes him away. Elliott connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kilmeister holds on, trying desperately to control. Elliott jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kilmeister manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kilmeister is not content to let Elliott control the position. Elliott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kilmeister is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilmeister being controlled for a moment. Elliott misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Elliott wants to control but Kilmeister is keeping him busy. Elliott happy to just control the position for now. Kilmeister sneaks out the side door and pushes Elliott away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Lemmy Kilmeister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilmeister throws a series of strikes that have Elliott backpedaling.
Elliott tries to move into range but Kilmeister moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kilmeister scores with a shot to the body.
Lemmy Kilmeister is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Elliott shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kilmeister counters with a lovely straight right hand! Elliott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Elliott closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. This has been an exciting period of action! Kilmeister will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kilmeister moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Elliott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kilmeister's waist but Kilmeister gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Elliott off to one side. Kilmeister keeps the fight on the outside. Sammie Elliott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice shot lands for Kilmeister. Lemmy Kilmeister seems to be getting the better of the standup. Elliott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kilmeister.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elliott is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Elliott wants to clinch but Kilmeister slips to the side and Elliott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kilmeister moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Elliott takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kilmeister scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kilmeister with a hook. Kilmeister scores with a nice head shot. Elliott tries to move into range but Kilmeister moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Elliott tries for a takedown but Kilmeister circles away easily and Kilmeister counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fighters circle momentarily. Kilmeister darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Kilmeister. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Elliott takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A punch combination from Kilmeister misses. Elliott seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kilmeister throws a right hand that Elliott ducks under and follows up with a left that Elliott also avoids with ease. Elliott tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kilmeister manages to circle out of the way. A combination from Kilmeister does no damage. Elliott's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kilmeister connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Elliott scrambles back to his feet. Kilmeister throws a right and a left that both miss. Good exchange - Kilmeister coming out on top. Kilmeister connects with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Kilmeister misses. Elliott went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Elliott has his takedown stuffed letting Kilmeister counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sammie Elliott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elliott clinches. Elliott wants to take the fight to the mat but Kilmeister manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kilmeister wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kilmeister is looking to break free of the clinch but Elliott has double underhooks. Elliott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Elliott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kilmeister sprawls well. Kilmeister wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Elliott gets slowly back to his feet.

Kilmeister connects with a jab. Elliott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kilmeister might want to mix his strikes up a bit more.
