Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maples avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sikora looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Maples tries to clinch there but Sikora circles away.
Sikora fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maples manages to avoid it.
Maples slips a jab and a cross from Sikora.
Sikora swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sikora lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sikora jabs Maples right on the nose. Maples blinks but takes it well.
Nice straight punches there by Sikora. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sikora.

Maples looking to land some kicks to the body here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sikora connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Maples takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Maples takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sikora wants to slow Maples down by chopping away at his legs.
Sikora misses with a series of wild punches.

Sikora throws an overhand right that lands on Maples's shoulder, as Maples tries to avoid the shot.
Sikora finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Maples bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Maples misses with a combination
and Maples takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sikora scores with a leg kick.
Sikora falls off balance throwing a combination
and Maples counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Maples lands a couple of digs.
Maples trying to control the position from guard on top but Sikora is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maples is looking to work some ground and pound but Sikora has wrist control.

Maples looking to sit in guard and control but Sikora gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maples keeping moving, preventing Sikora from controlling successfully.

Maples trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Maples on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maples tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sikora lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Krzysiek Sikora is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Maples lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sikora throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sikora fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sikora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sikora looks gassed!
Maples works over Sikora's head and body with a nice combination.
Maples throws a series of punches but Sikora moves out of range.
Sikora misses with a double jab
and Maples counters with a right hand to the body.
Sikora walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Maples checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Maples looks to land a combination but Sikora avoids it well.
Sikora avoids the head kick by Maples.
No joy there for Sikora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Maples dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Maples avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Maples bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Maples landing a few strikes.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sikora is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maples asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sikora tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Maples presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Sikora is breathing heavily.

Maples looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Maples lands with some strikes.

Sikora in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Sikora is rocked!
A big strike lands for Maples! That's really hurt Sikora and he's turned his back - Maples keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Maples Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
