Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir The Great (ranked 6216 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brug Angeloz (ranked 5600 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir The Great! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brug Angeloz! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angeloz pushes The Great up against the cage in a clinch. The Great throws an elbow that misses.

Angeloz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The Great fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Angeloz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The Great misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Angeloz.
The Great lands an elbow just above Angeloz 's eye. The Great tries to land knees in the clinch but Angeloz avoids the damage to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Great pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Great chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Angeloz can pounce on him.

The Great seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Angeloz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The Great manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The Great really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Angeloz can do anything to dispel that myth. Angeloz managing to control the position. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The Great has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Angeloz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Great looking to control.
Angeloz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Angeloz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The Great not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The Great is really struggling to control Angeloz but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Angeloz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The Great kicks off Angeloz and gets to his feet. Angeloz takes the fight into the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. The Great is looking to score with knees to the body. That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir The Great will probably get the nod. That's time! The Great's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angeloz. The Great stuffs the takedown. The Great appears to be looking for a big counter. Angeloz closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Great circles away. Vladimir The Great has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brug Angeloz. Angeloz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Great as he avoids it easily. The Great throws a big counter combination but Angeloz scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. The Great goes for a double leg but Angeloz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Angeloz continues to drive forward. Angeloz is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. The Great is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Angeloz. No luck with that takedown attempt from The Great. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Great shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Angeloz pinned against the cage. Angeloz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Angeloz jumps guard but The Great stands there with Angeloz around his waist. Angeloz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Angeloz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Great walks away with a smile on his face. Angeloz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angeloz looks to land a body kick but The Great moved away. The Great tries to counter by clinching up but Angeloz breaks away and moves out of range. Angeloz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Angeloz duly obliges. The Great fails in his attempt to clinch. Angeloz moves into the clinch. Angeloz is trying to push The Great away but The Great has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The Great missing with knees to the body.

Angeloz jumps guard but The Great turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Angeloz is looking to take this one to the mat. The Great tries to land a knee to the head but Angeloz blocks with his arms.

A close second round but Brug Angeloz will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Angeloz forces The Great back against the cage and clinches. The Great has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Angeloz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The Great misses with an elbow strike.

Angeloz tries to avoid it but The Great manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Angeloz to the ground. Angeloz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir The Great. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Angeloz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Angeloz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angeloz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The Great eats them both and turns towards Angeloz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Angeloz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but The Great defends well and Angeloz ends up having to push The Great into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Angeloz goes for a double leg but The Great avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as The Great continues to drive forward. Angeloz lands a slapping body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by The Great or perhaps it was just good defense by Angeloz, which made it look bad. The Great gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Angeloz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angeloz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Angeloz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Angeloz stands and throws The Great's legs to the side, diving into side control. Angeloz lands some shots froms side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on The Great's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The Great looks to move to half guard but instead Angeloz has passed into mount! Damn! Angeloz goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Great is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Brug Angeloz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Angeloz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
