Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan May (ranked 2095 p4p, 210 weight class) and Nameless Fighter (ranked 2740 p4p, 267 weight class). Fighter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dan Balan Like. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan May! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nameless Fighter! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fighter.
May tries to clinch up. May's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fighter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! May scrambles back to his feet. Fighter throws a hook but May avoids it easily. May has taken the fight to the clinch.
May goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fighter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fighter thuds his right hand into May's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Fighter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Fighter keeps the fight on the outside. May punishes Fighter's body with a nice straight punch. Fighter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by May. May is looking for a counter combo. Fighter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. No joy there for May, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! May moves out of range as Fighter strikes. May walks into a straight right hand from Fighter. Fighter lands the left hand. May takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
May tries to close the distance and clinch but Fighter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fighter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. May sees it coming and avoids it easily. May doesn't manage to clinch there - Fighter circles away.

It looked like May was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fighter. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. May is looking to clinch. May really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fighter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. May goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Fighter lands with a hook. May tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The fighters circle momentarily. Fighter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Fighter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed May momentarily.
