Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krejzi Kure (ranked 2584 p4p, 258 weight class) and Rich Junior (ranked 4653 p4p, 396 weight class). Kure comes to the cage accompanied by BIG SHUG - who's hard. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Krejzi Kure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rich Junior! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kure scores with a one two! Junior had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kure misses with a looping left. Junior on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kure lands with a cross. Junior shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kure sprawls well. Kure wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Junior gets slowly back to his feet. Junior takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Junior misses with a takedown and Kure counters with a straight right hand. Kure has a takedown stuffed. Kure misses with a right hand and Junior decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kure's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Junior throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kure works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kure controls Junior momentarily but Junior frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Junior postures up.
Junior working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Junior preventing the sweep. Junior throws a big elbow that misses. Junior working some strikes from top position. Junior has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kure trying to control the position.
Kure is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Junior landing with the ground and pound. Junior makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Junior connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kure is trying to keep Junior in close.
Junior lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Junior won't allow Kure to sweep him here. Junior being controlled here momentarily. Junior working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kure's head.
Kure is rocked! Junior is in close to Kure's body, working some short punches and elbows. Oh Kure is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kure is trying to control the position but Junior postures up. Kure wants to sweep here but Junior controlling him for the moment. Junior with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Junior arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kure's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rich Junior! A very excited looking Rich Junior made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
