Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arnar Agnarsson (ranked 5003 p4p, 462 weight class) and Ivan Romoletto (ranked 8279 p4p, 552 weight class). Agnarsson's entrance music is Drop death - Scream. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arnar Agnarsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Romoletto!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romoletto lands a glancing blow to the side of Agnarsson's head.
Agnarsson connects with a nice looking jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Romoletto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Romoletto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Agnarsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Romoletto tries to move into range but Agnarsson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Romoletto misses with a left hand
and Agnarsson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Romoletto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Romoletto lands a really nice looking cross but Agnarsson seems unphased.
Romoletto swings widly with a right hand
and Romoletto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Romoletto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Agnarsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Agnarsson lands a nice hook to Romoletto's body. Romoletto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Agnarsson throws a lazy right hand but Romoletto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Agnarsson counters with a good low kick that Romoletto was not able to check.
A left lands for Agnarsson.

Romoletto throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Agnarsson counters with a left and a right... And another left! Romoletto is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnar Agnarsson!
A relieved looking Arnar Agnarsson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
