Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ignatius Thistlewhite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bear Hug!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thistlewhite clinches up against the cage.
Thistlewhite blocks an uppercut.
Hug lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hug lands with a left to the head.
Hug working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Thistlewhite blocking some punches.
Thistlewhite is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hug pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hug lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hug presses Thistlewhite against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hug is pressed up against the cage. Thistlewhite has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hug down to the mat. Hug avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thistlewhite fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ignatius Thistlewhite. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thistlewhite darts in looking for a takedown but Hug gets double underhooks and turns Thistlewhite into the cage.
Hug lands with an uppercut that bounces Thistlewhite off the cage and back into range.
Thistlewhite shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hug but Hug pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hug throws out a counter right but Thistlewhite avoids it with no problem.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hug clinches up with Thistlewhite and pushes him back against the cage.
Thistlewhite's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Hug scores with a hook to the body.
Hug lands a shoulder strike.
Thistlewhite blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Hug.
A short uppercut from Hug.
Hug lands a shoulder strike.
A short right from Hug on the inside.

Thistlewhite is rocked!
Thistlewhite has been working on his balance at Rabid Dog , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Hug.
Hug throws a head punch that misses.
Oh Thistlewhite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hug lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hug lands an uppercut.
Hug gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Thistlewhite.
Hug swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hug lands a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hug softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hug dips a shoulder and cracks Thistlewhite with a mighty uppercut! Thistlewhite falls back against the cage and Hug unloads with a barrage of strikes! Thistlewhite is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hug screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bear Hug!
A relieved looking Bear Hug thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
