PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Swiftwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan cracks Swiftwater with a good jab.
Swiftwater throws a head kick but Hogan moves out of range.
Swiftwater has a takedown stuffed.

Swiftwater drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hogan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hogan works his way to his opponent's back.

Swiftwater is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hogan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogan can't escape the position.
Hogan tries to lock up and control but Swiftwater gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hogan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That was a close round but I would say that Glenn Swiftwater will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Swiftwater, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
