Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Walcott (ranked 966 p4p, 115 weight class) and Daniel Sainty (ranked 2078 p4p, 242 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Walcott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Sainty! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sainty moves out of range of the strikes. Walcott lands with a nice body punch. Walcott catches Sainty with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Walcott scores with a nice head shot. Walcott leaves Sainty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Walcott throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sainty counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sainty is looking to advance position but Walcott won't allow it. Walcott is controlling Sainty's position as best he can from this difficult position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walcott has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walcott is trying to get back to full guard. Sainty not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sainty wants to pass to mount but Walcott is defending the position. Walcott is doing well to control the position and prevent Sainty from advancing to side control. Walcott has a hand on Sainty's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sainty takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Walcott regains half guard. Sainty wants to pass the guard but Walcott is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sainty seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walcott does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Walcott is trying to get back to full guard. Walcott is controlling Sainty's trapped leg to prevent Sainty from advancing to side control. My spies in Crapollas Gym inform me that Sainty has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Walcott continues to stall. Walcott wants to sweep but Sainty has passed to side control! Sainty works to advance to full mount. Walcott defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Sainty avoids the attempt from Walcott to control. Sainty looking to control and managing it successfully. Walcott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walcott tries to get out of the position. Walcott tries to hold on but Sainty postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walcott regains half guard. Walcott tries to roll over but Sainty keeps him under control. Walcott keeps control of the position for the meantime. Sainty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Walcott wants to get back to full guard. Walcott is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sainty is keen to just control but Walcott is a slippery customer. Walcott tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sainty has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Walcott wants to control but Sainty is having none of it. Walcott working to try and regain half guard.
Walcott is squirming around, avoiding Sainty's attempts to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Walcott is desperately trying to improve his position but Sainty has a good base and remains in mount. Sainty wants to control the pace but Walcott is squirming around nicely. Sainty is looking to work his way around to Walcott's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Sainty dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Walcott jabbing away but nothing is landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Walcott. Sainty does a little dance to reset his feet. Sainty bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sainty fails with an attempt to clinch.
Walcott tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A punch combination from Walcott misses. Sainty fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walcott throws a head kick that misses. Sainty has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walcott. No joy there for Walcott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sainty changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Sainty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walcott scores with a nice strike. Sainty tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Walcott is able to avoid easily. Sainty looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Walcott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Walcott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Walcott misses with a wild body shot. Sainty throws a leg kick but Walcott moved away. Walcott checks a leg kick. Walcott is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sainty throws a body shot but no joy. Tommy Walcott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walcott scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sainty is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walcott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sainty. Sainty is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sainty is still on wobbly legs! Can Walcott finish him? Tommy Walcott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sainty. Walcott defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sainty. Sainty seems to have recovered his senses. Tommy Walcott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Sainty. Sainty dives in and grabs Walcott's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walcott pushes down on Sainty's head and hops out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Walcott does it's job there. Walcott checks the leg kick nicely there.
Walcott misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walcott lands with an overhand left. A jab from Walcott misses. Walcott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walcott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walcott jabs Sainty to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sainty throws the left hand but Walcott avoids the punch easily. Walcott clinches up with Sainty and pushes him back against the cage. Sainty goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sainty tries to work over Walcott's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Walcott is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sainty can do to turn this around? Walcott lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sainty backwards. Sainty misses with a hook to the ribs.
Walcott lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walcott misses with a punch to the body.
Walcott throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Walcott lands a hook to the side of the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Walcott. Sainty tries to break the clinch but Walcott is controlling the position. Sainty misses with a body punch.
Sainty tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walcott just stands there and leans against the cage. Sainty tries to stall but Walcott uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sainty can't find room to land a body shot as Walcott controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Walcott dominated that second round. That's time! Walcott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Walcott misses with an uppercut. Sainty saw that one coming. Sainty drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Walcott defends it well. Walcott bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sainty's head. Walcott comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tommy Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walcott misses with a two punch combination.
Sainty tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Walcott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sainty moves away. Sainty looks like he wants to counter punch here. Walcott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sainty moves away. Sainty is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sainty fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sainty takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's one minute gone in the round. Walcott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sainty circles away quickly and effectively. Walcott lands with an overhand left. Walcott fails to land with a series of punches.
Walcott misses the shot to the body. Sainty takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Walcott cracks Sainty with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sainty staying out of range there. Walcott stuffs the takedown attempt from Sainty. Sainty gets slowly back to his feet. Sainty tries to clinch there but Walcott circles away.
Walcott defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sainty. It looked like Walcott was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Tommy Walcott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Sainty.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sainty shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walcott defends it nicely. Walcott takes a swing at Sainty's ribcage but misses. Nice takedown defense from Walcott. No joy for Sainty on that attempt. Walcott throwing a counter right hand but Sainty manages to avoid it. Walcott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sainty manages to avoid it. Walcott throws a series of punches but Sainty moves out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walcott misses with a double jab.
Sainty drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Walcott defends it well. Walcott throws a nice looking combination but Sainty bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A looping hook to the body misses from Walcott. Sainty does a little dance to reset his feet. Sainty swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sainty will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Walcott loads up on a big right hand but Sainty slips the punch. Sainty shoots in looking for a takedown. Walcott tries to sprawl out of it but Sainty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walcott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Walcott is looking to counter punch. Walcott scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Walcott throws a jab but it's blocked by Sainty. Sainty drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Walcott defends it well. Walcott checks the leg kick nicely there.

A slow jab from Walcott misses its intended target. Sainty moves out of range as Walcott strikes. Walcott keeps the fight on the outside. Sainty avoids the body shot from Walcott.
Sainty fails with the takedown. Walcott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sainty throws a body kick that misses and Walcott counters with a left and a right that stings Sainty. Walcott is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walcott misses with a few strikes there.
And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Walcott showed his dominance in that final round. I think Walcott has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
