Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawson (ranked 3136 p4p, 105 weight class) and Evgeni Lomachenko (ranked 2681 p4p, 306 weight class). Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Titanic theme. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Evgeni Lomachenko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgeni Lomachenko!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lomachenko moves away.
Dawson has taken the fight to the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lomachenko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dawson lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Evgeni Lomachenko has been cut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Dawson.
Dawson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Dawson lands a nice elbow.
Dawson lands a vicious elbow to the side of Lomachenko's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Dawson tries to finish him with strikes but Lomachenko still seems able to defend himself so Dawson steps back and lets Lomachenko get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Lomachenko is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lomachenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lomachenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawson finish him?
Dawson has managed to clinch.
Lomachenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Dawson unloads an enormous knee to the head! That's knocked Lomachenko out cold! Holy cow, it was almost as if it lifted Lomachenko off his feet!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Jack Dawson!
Jack Dawson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
