Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gosha Lopez (ranked 1886 p4p, 223 weight class) and Jaxson Wilder (ranked 3555 p4p, 449 weight class). Lopez's entrance music is Sho Z-pod duba. A fine choice. Jaxson Wilder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder throws a big shot that misses.
Lopez seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Lopez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wilder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lopez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilder tries to avoid it but Lopez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilder to the ground. Wilder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wilder gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lopez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wilder is just riding it out for now. Lopez eventually gives up the hold.

Wilder has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Lopez seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Wilder can turn it around.

That was a close round but I would say that Gosha Lopez will probably get the nod.

Lopez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wilder walks away with a smile on his face. Lopez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lopez leaves his chin hanging out and Wilder seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lopez crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After winning the bout, Jaxson Wilder thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
