The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabbit shoots for a double leg takedown but Warriner sprawls well. He's pushed Rabbit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Warriner shoots and misses and Rabbit counters with a takedown into side control. Rabbit decides to stand up, so the ref orders Warriner to his feet. Rabbit misses with a body kick. Rabbit looks gassed! Warriner fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Warriner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rabbit. Warriner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Rabbit scores with a jab to the head.
Warriner throws a right and a left that Rabbit avoids nicely. Warriner keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Rabbit. Warriner lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Peter Rabbit has been cut. Rabbit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Warriner. Warriner misses with a double jab
and Rabbit counters with a shoot takedown. Warriner fights it but they end up in guard. Warriner wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warriner trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warriner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Warriner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rabbit wants to hold on but Warriner pushes him away. Warriner prevents Rabbit from getting the reversal. Rabbit tries to lock up and control but Warriner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Warriner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rabbit throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Rabbit tries to hold on but Warriner postures up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rabbit is looking to improve his position but Warriner isn't that keen on the idea. Rabbit takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Warriner lands a big elbow. Warriner with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rabbit bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Warriner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rabbit stands and steps away. Warriner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Warriner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rabbit counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Warriner! Rabbit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rabbit prevents Warriner from getting the reversal. Rabbit trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rabbit postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Warriner looks a forlorn figure.
Warriner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Warriner gets back to half guard. Nice strikes from Rabbit there. The fighters are battling for position here. Warriner manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabbit preventing the sweep. Warriner is looking to sweep but instead, Rabbit has passed into half guard.
Rabbit is trying to control the action in half guard but Warriner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rabbit sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rabbit sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Warriner defending well though. Rabbit is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Warriner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rabbit on the ground. Warriner wants to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are battling for position here. Warriner manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Warriner keeping moving, preventing Rabbit from controlling successfully. A close round but Peter Rabbit will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Peter Rabbit's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Warriner with a poor takedown and Rabbit counters with a three punch combo that has Warriner backing up. Warriner nods at Rabbit to acknowledge the strikes. Rabbit misses with a series of wild punches.
Warriner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rabbit on the side of the head. Warriner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rabbit. Nice sprawl there from Rabbit as Warriner shoots in. Warriner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rabbit counters with a single leg into guard. Warriner didn't expect that. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Warriner is on top in guard.
Warriner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rabbit lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Warriner! Warriner is trying to escape the mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rabbit controlling the pace for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Warriner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rabbit throwing strikes here but Warriner is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Rabbit blocks Warriner's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Warriner swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Rabbit unloading with bombs! Warriner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rabbit looking to finish Warriner with some ground and pound. This is bad for Warriner!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rabbit controlling from the full mount. Rabbit jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Warriner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A jab from Warriner does it's job there. Warriner pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Warriner misses with a takedown attempt and Rabbit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Warriner. That's going to take a lot out of him. A swing and a miss from Warriner. Warriner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rabbit counters by moving into the clinch. Rabbit is trying to trip Warriner. He has hold of a leg but Warriner is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rabbit persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Rabbit controlling from the top position. Warriner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Rabbit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Peter Rabbit's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rabbit rushes Warriner and presses him up against the cage. Warriner wants to break free but Rabbit has control.
Warriner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Warriner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rabbit counters with a takedown into side control. Rabbit is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Warriner's shoulder. That is not cool. Rabbit trying to control the action but Warriner is working from the bottom. Warriner tries to bench press Rabbit off him but Rabbit keeps the position. Warriner looking for a sweep but Rabbit has passed into full mount! Oh no! Warriner can't escape the position.
Warriner is working hard here to advance position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Warriner throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Rabbit takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rabbit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
