Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Ross (ranked 4448 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmond Dantes (ranked 2538 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shane Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edmond Dantes!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes thows a left - swing and a miss!
A big left from Ross misses.
Ross takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ross misses the shot to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dantes! But no joy.
A slow jab from Ross misses its intended target.
Ross throws a body punch but Dantes moves out of range.
A big right from Ross misses.
Ross throws a body shot but no joy.
Dantes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ross.
Dantes let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Ross loads up on a big right hand but Dantes slips the punch.
Dantes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dantes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ross throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Dantes counter with a right hand.
Dantes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dantes cracks Ross with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dantes slips under a jab from Ross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ross displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dantes throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ross slips a jab from Dantes.
Dantes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ross is rocked!
Dantes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dantes loads up on a big right hand but Ross slips the punch.
Dantes closes the distance and pushes Ross back into the cage.
Ross misses with the head strike.
Dantes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ross is looking to clinch.
Dantes slips a jab from Ross.
Ross swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Dantes counter with a right hand.
Ross misses with a straight left.
Dantes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dantes moves away.
Dantes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Dantes throws out a powerful jab.
Ross throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dantes on the side of the head.
It looks like Edmond Dantes has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dantes looks to score with a jab to the body but Ross is just out of range.
Ross appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dantes misses with an uppercut. Ross saw that one coming.
Dantes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dantes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ross in his tracks.
Dantes is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ross had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Dantes throws a right hand that misses
and Ross counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dantes clinches with his opponent.
Dantes blocking some punches.
Dantes can't find room to land a body shot as Ross controls the action.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ross.
Dantes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ross backwards.
Ross tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dantes prevents a body shot from Ross.
Dantes misses with the head strike.
Dantes scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Dantes lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Oh Ross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ross tries to work over Dantes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ross seems to have got his legs back now.
Ross scores with a nice hook to the head.
Ross misses with a punch to the body.
Dantes has a couple of punches blocked by Ross.
Dantes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dantes lands a big right hand that sends Ross crashing to the mat! Dantes stays standing though and waves Ross back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dantes was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross.
Ross gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dantes misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ross lands a left hand.
Ross misses with a punch to the body.
Dantes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
