The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Burnley connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sterling. Sterling circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Burnley tests Sterling's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Burnley misses the shot to the body.
Burnley looks to throw the jab but Sterling is out of range.
Sterling avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sterling steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Burnley.
Burnley connects with a crisp jab.
Sterling walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Burnley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sterling moves away.
Burnley scores with a hook to the body. Sterling takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Burnley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Sterling clinches.
Sterling throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Burnley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sterling up against the cage.
Sterling is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Burnley is defending well for now.

Burnley creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Sterling with a big uppercut! Sterling tries to clinch up but Burnley pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Sterling to the mat! Sterling covers up and Burnley unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
