Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Murray (ranked 25017 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Stepic (ranked 6370 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Douglas Murray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Goran Stepic! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray moves in looking to clinch but Stepic pushes him off. Murray looks for a takedown but Stepic sprawls well. Stepic leaves Murray with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stepic keeps the fight on the outside. Stepic tries to counter with a clinch but Murray shakes him off and moves away. Murray moves in looking to clinch but Stepic pushes him off. Stepic connects with the punch. Douglas Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murray takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stepic stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Douglas Murray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice straight punches there by Stepic. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stepic. Murray throws a combination. Stepic tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Stepic scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stepic works Murray's body with a nice hook. Stepic moves into range and connects with a jab. Murray takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Murray is breathing heavily. Murray goes for a double leg but Stepic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stepic continues to drive forward. Stepic lands a nice looking body shot.
Stepic lands a big uppercut and Murray crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Murray looks OK. Stepic waves Murray back to his feet!
It looks like Douglas Murray has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Murray wants to clinch up but Stepic keeps it at a distance. Stepic steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Murray. Stepic sends Murray crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stepic is motioning to the referee to let Murray up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Murray is rocked! Stepic circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Murray to the canvas! Murray doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Stepic keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Goran Stepic!
