Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puet looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Monroe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Puet appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Puet shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Puet was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Puet is looking to take a break and control but Monroe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Puet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monroe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Monroe is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Puet frees his head nicely. Oh but Monroe has switched to an armbar! Puet is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
