Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Wolfe (ranked 3501 p4p, 432 weight class) and RJ Barakus (ranked 5391 p4p, 573 weight class). Ivan Wolfe is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Wolfe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, RJ Barakus!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barakus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
As Barakus looks to move away, Wolfe throws a big counter combo but Barakus just gets out of the way.
Barakus throws a jab when Wolfe was well out of range.
Wolfe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wolfe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barakus throws a hook but Wolfe avoids it easily.

Wolfe rushes Barakus and presses him up against the cage.

Wolfe has clasped his hands together around Barakus's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Wolfe cracks Barakus with a big right hand but Barakus just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Barakus gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Wolfe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barakus on the ground.

Wolfe slips a nice elbow through Barakus's hands, connecting with Barakus's forehead.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barakus wants to improve his position but Wolfe is controlling well.

Wolfe is nestled in close to Barakus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wolfe throws a strike but Barakus rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Barakus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolfe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barakus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barakus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Barakus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolfe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barakus in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wolfe tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Barakus!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). RJ Barakus!
A relieved looking RJ Barakus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
