The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngannou moves into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ngannou jumps guard but Alison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Ngannou tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alison smiles and moves away.
Benny Alison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alistar Ngannou.
Alison connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Alistar Ngannou has been cut.
Alison lands a big right hand that sends Ngannou crashing to the mat! Alison stays standing though and waves Ngannou back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ngannou manages to avoid it.
Ngannou tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Alison defends well and Ngannou ends up having to push Alison into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alison walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ngannou drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Alison swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ngannou's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benny Alison!
Benny Alison really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Revenge Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
