Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen National Anthem as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Diaz! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diaz can pounce on him.
Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diaz showed some decent athleticism there. White is trying to control but can't.
White tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Diaz manages to move to mount!
White tries to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Diaz misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

White tries to reverse the position but Diaz maintains control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz avoids the attempt from White to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz. White sizes up Diaz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. White lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Diaz throwing shots but White is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. White trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Diaz manages to pass to mount!

Diaz looking for a guillotine from mount but White is having none of it. White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. White blocking the ground and pound. White is trying desperately to improve position.

and Diaz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Diaz trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Diaz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. White is trying to keep Diaz in close.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. White tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz throws a big right hand that misses. Diaz wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Diaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A left and a right from White both land. Nice combination.

White looks to land a left hand but Diaz moved out of range nicely. Ian White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diaz lands a high kick!
Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. White looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Diaz trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom. Diaz in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Diaz scoring with punches and elbows. Diego Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
