Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chad Kopperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen money maker as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Kopperman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ Johnson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kopperman as he jumps to the side. Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Chad Kopperman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Johnson. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Kopperman tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Kopperman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kopperman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Kopperman avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Kopperman swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kopperman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kopperman misses with a body kick. Some wild striking there from Kopperman.
Kopperman tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Johnson trying to control the action but Kopperman is working from the bottom. Kopperman has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action. Johnson is pressing down on Kopperman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kopperman is holding on for now. Johnson is keen to just control but Kopperman is a slippery customer. Kopperman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kopperman wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.
Kopperman tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Johnson blocks the strikes from Kopperman.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kopperman takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kopperman is breathing heavily. Kopperman with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. Johnson is chipping away with strikes.
Johnson works to advance to full mount. Kopperman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kopperman is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Johnson has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kopperman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Johnson controlling from the back. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Johnson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Johnson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Johnson wants to control but Kopperman is keeping busy. Johnson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Kopperman up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Johnson throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kopperman!
Johnson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Johnson has got one arm under Kopperman's chin. This could be trouble... Kopperman trying to control the other hand but Johnson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kopperman has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). AJ Johnson!
