Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gryers Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dreadlock Rasta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Buffalo Soldier kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gryers Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dreadlock Rasta! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasta gets a clinch. Rasta breaks from the clinch.
Rasta wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance. Walker lands a jab-cross combination. Walker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Walker misses with a head kick.
Rasta shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rasta avoids a kick to the body.

Gryers Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rasta moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off. Rasta is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Walker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rasta momentarily.

Walker stuffs the takedown attempt from Rasta. Rasta gets slowly back to his feet. Rasta looks gassed! Walker throws a right and a left that Rasta avoids nicely. Rasta is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Walker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Walker's corner calls for a 1-2. Walker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rasta fails in his attempt to clinch. Rasta tries to clinch up but Walker circles away and keeps his distance. Walker connects with a right hand. Rasta shakes it off. Walker stuffs the takedown. Walker throws a series of strikes that have Rasta backpedaling.
Walker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rasta is able to avoid easily. Walker scores with a one two! Rasta had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. No luck for Rasta with that takedown attempt. Gryers Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A decent looking cross lands there for Walker. Rasta moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off. Rasta closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Walker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Walker lands a two punch combo.

That must have hurt him. Rasta takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Walker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rasta at a distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Walker misses with a low kick. Rasta shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Walker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rasta doesn't seem bothered though. Rasta takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Nice sprawl there from Walker as Rasta shoots in. Rasta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Walker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Rasta throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Walker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Walker is working the combinations to good effect here. Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gryers Walker dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Walker throws a right and a left that both miss. Walker attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Walker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rasta checks it well. Rasta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Walker scores with a hook to the body. Rasta takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rasta on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Walker lands with a nice body punch. Rasta has a takedown stuffed. Rasta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Walker lands an overhand right. Walker clobbers Rasta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rasta pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch. Rasta prevents the takedown attempt.
Rasta's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Rasta drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Walker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rasta throws a head punch that misses. Rasta is trying to drag Walker to the mat but Walker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gryers Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dreadlock Rasta.

Walker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rasta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rasta avoids the head kick by Walker.

Walker throws a lazy head kick and Rasta counters with a single leg into guard. Walker didn't expect that. Walker is looking for a triangle here but Rasta uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Rasta prevents Walker from escaping the position. Rasta has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Rasta looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well. Walker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rasta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes. Rasta shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense. Walker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Dreadlock Rasta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rasta checks a leg kick. Rasta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Rasta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rasta shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense. Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rasta fails to pull guard.
Walker cracks Rasta with a nice body shot. Walker lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rasta or not. Walker wants to break free but Rasta has control.
Rasta prevents Walker from breaking the clinch. Walker has had enough of the clinch but Rasta keeps him there for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Gryers Walker showed his dominance in that final round. I think Walker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
