The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas keeps the fight on the outside.
Tomas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Haddaway tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tomas fails with a takedown attempt.
Haddaway tries to clinch up but Tomas circles away and keeps his distance.
Tomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Haddaway circles away.

Haddaway has managed to clinch.
Haddaway tries to land knees in the clinch but Tomas avoids the damage to the body.
Haddaway comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Frank Tomas has been cut.
Haddaway tries a knee to the head but Tomas blocks it.
Tomas goes for a takedown attempt but Haddaway pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Samantha Haddaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Tomas.
Haddaway tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Haddaway creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tomas's defenses.
Haddaway lands a knee to the head.
Haddaway jerks Tomas's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Tomas drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Haddaway goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Haddaway because Tomas was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
